Just announced, the papers ink is still wet…BMW confirmed earlier speculations about a possible tax incentive for customers, who are deciding on a new Diesel, found in the BMW 3 series (BMW 335d) or in the SAV BMW X5 xDrive 35d. That means for the new owners an approximate tax credit for up to $900 on the sedan Diesel or up to $1,800 for BMW’s Sports Activity Vehicle X5. Due to BMW’s Advanced Diesel with BluePerformance Technology the IRS acknowledged that BMW Diesels will qualify for the Advanced Lean Burn Technology Motor Vehicles Tax Credit.
BMW of South Atlanta, Georgia has these vehicles (and many more) with incredible savings available in their Union City location. The BMW 335d starts a $44,725 MSRP. The Gas Mileage on this 6-cylinder Twin-Turbo is marked at 23mpg in the City and 36mpg for the Highway.
Typical BMW…also when you are having the most fuel efficient BMW Sports Sedan ever, the 265 horsepower and 425 lb-ft of torgue keeping it’s promise – the promise of an Ultimate Driving Machine, delivering a 0-60 mph at only 6.0 seconds.
What about the BMW X5 xDrive 35d? Also here: German engineering compared with the Joy to Ride. With just below under 7.0 second mark, the BMW X5 diesel aggregate catapults the SAV from 0-60 mph and has an EPA of 19mpg/City and 26mpg/Hwy. Phenomenal. The MSRP is starting at $52,025.
You want to hear about one more huge benefit to drive the new Diesel? How about this…let’s say you are making a nice road trip during these cold winter temperatures, and hate it to stop every 300 miles to fill up you tank – you definitely do not have to worry about this scenario when you are driving one of the Advanced Diesels from BMW. Both fuel tanks are having the capacity to let you drive around 600 miles with one single load of fuel.
You really need to test these Torque Wonders out. I guarantee it is nothing like a Diesel 20 years ago. No typical Diesel smell, no typical Diesel noise, and one more thing…IT IS FAST!!!
The 335d Sedan and X5 xDrive 35d Sports Activity Vehicle® is now available at BMW of South Atlanta and in BMW centers across all 50 states.
